Sumo + Sushi

Ace Mission Studios hosted the Sumo + Sushi event from November 6-9, 2025, offering an exhilarating "edu-tainment" fusion of authentic sumo wrestling and fresh sushi dining.

Our Campus LA leveraged its expansive facilities, with the main action unfolding in Mission 4 — featuring live exhibition matches, educational insights into sumo's 1,500-year history, rules, and culture, plus Q&A sessions.

Meanwhile, Mission 3 served as the hub for the merchandise store, drinks, and a lively photobooth section where guests could pose with the sumo wrestlers after the event wrapped up.

Hosted by Konishiki, the trailblazing former ōzeki-ranked sumo wrestler and three-time top division champion, the 90-minute experience included over 12 thrilling matches and the chance for attendees to step into the ring for a fun, safe one-on-one with a professional wrestler.

Curated bento boxes from local sushi chefs complemented the action, alongside bar offerings of beer, sake, and spirits.

Ticket options ranged from Front Row seating for up-close views to VIP Sky Suites with elevated platforms, on-demand sushi, and open bar.

This vibrant collaboration drew enthusiastic crowds, blending Japanese tradition with LA's dynamic energy and showcasing Our Campus's ability to create immersive, multi-faceted activations that entertain and educate.
